Singer / Songwriter Kelly Montijo Fink earns two Native American Music Award Nominations!

Kelly Montijo Fink of Hiawatha, IA has recently earned two NAMMY nominations in the categories of Best Gospel / Inspirational Album & Best Compilation Album for her latest release entitled “Don’t Let Me Forget”.  The album also features other local artists Josh Misener, Sean Murphy, Shane Lunsford, & Chris Stanton. Kelly is of Apache, Mexican, & Spanish heritage.

The Native American Music Awards was founded in 1998 by President / CEO Ellen Bello and is the music industry’s only national organization for the advancement & recognition of Native American musical expressions.

The 15th annual awards show will be held Friday, November 14th at the Seneca Allegany Events Center in Salamanca, New York and will be broadcast on FNX-TV. Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster.

November is nationally known as Native American Heritage month.
